I never thought I would be able to visit the Burj Al Arab but I sure did in during my study abroad trip in Spring 2011 to the UAE! I started this blog for a class assignment and thought nothing of it. Maybe I should write more blogs about exotic places so I can travel there.
Nonetheless, it was such an amazing experience to see the Burj Al Arab and to be immersed in a culture I had no knowledge about. I definintely want to go back! If any of you have a chance to visit UAE, definintely check out the other properities by Jumeirah Group. Although there is no connection, I personally had a really great time at Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi - they had a transparent piano that lit up in the lobby (totally amazing!).
